Laurelhurst
Located south of NE 45th St. to Webster Point and east of the University of Washington, Laurelhurst is an upscale neighborhood with strong roots. It's not uncommon for people to continue living in the same neighborhood they grew up in. Laurelhurst is known for its well-kept lawns, views, schools, and beautiful, peaceful streets.  On the shores of this peninsula jutting out into Lake Washington you'll find the local private waterfront park, referred to by residents simply as "the Beach Club." Its residents are largely professional in this neighborhood annexed in 1910 by Seattle.
